How is a master key assigned?

⚠️ NOTE: To generate a master key, you require a Credential Master user, which is available only on demand.

Your merchant can only have one master or primary key. Secondary keys you generate will depend on it. These are the steps to create a master or primary key.

1. Follow the steps described here to generate a credential.
2. Click on the button.
3. In the pop-up menu, click on the Assign as master option.
4. On the pop-up window, click the Yes option, assign to select this credential as master.

Once the process is completed, the main or master key of for your merchants will display the following button on the right side: .
